"Her?" Symph paused at the question, looking at the unknown Mobian in front of her. 'Jeez, did everyone want to claim the prize from the demon?' she thought to herself, annoyed at the possible idea of any more "teammates." "She's right over there," Symph tilted her head in the direction of the bat. She had just flown out of the cavern, facing her attention to the pilot and Arthur.

"Well if you want to head back to the resort your welcome to get into the chopper, if what you say is true and this isn't a natural phenomena I am going to tag along." he told them "My pilot will take anyone who is heading back to the resort there for free." he said signaling over his shoulder at the rope that now dangled behind him.

"Alright all of those wishing to go back to the resort, get to the chopper, the rest of you remain here, you uh...Symph lead the way to the source of the blizzard."
he said as he pointed towards the bat, making his way over to her, crossing his arms as he approached.

Symph turned to Arthur's powerful gaze, giving him no expression whatsoever. "Right," she nodded.
The snow was getting heavier. Symph felt as if her body was going numb through the frigid weather, but didn't speak up about it. One more sign of weakness might send her on a helicopter back to Station Square. Instead, she looked to the others, "Okay, who's staying, and who's going? We're leaving A.S.A.P."

Doug crossed his arms, he had an intent look in his eyes. "I ain't going no where, otherwise I'm probably gonna get scolded." Doug said, slowly smiling. "I have a duty and I don't plan on backing down that easily. So if we're going, what are we waiting on." Doug said, that smile then turning into an adventurous grin.

"Well then let us be off." Ryan said as he looked towards their goal, the helicopter would wait for whoever was going to be getting inside it before leaving. Ryan on the other hand would be staying and proceeding with the main group.

Arthur nodded as he looked back towards Symph before jerking his head
"Shall we? Lead the way little miss psychic." he said crossing his arms, he was feeling the cold himself, his cloths were warm but not for this kind of weather, his military training coupled with his cybernetic enhancements prevented his body from going numb and increased his heat output to keep his body at a comfortably warm temperature, thus he didn't seem affected by the cold.

"Little Miss Psychic" wasn't exactly an appreciated nickname to Symph. "Haha, very funny," she briefly stuck her tongue out at Arthur, before turning to Doug and the pilot. The bat was probably going to take the helicopter out of Emerald Slopes, knocking the "team" down to four.
"We can't be far off, that's for sure," she crossed her arms, trying to keep herself warm, "any colder and I think the source itself would freeze to death. I suggest we head that way," she pointed past the cave where the bat had taken refuge at one point," since the snow drifts are larger than the ones next to us."

"So your all a charming little group, what do you think is the cause of this?" Ryan asked as he fingered his sub machine gun and looked back up where Symph pointed. The otter rubbed his cheeks a moment, his body may of been warm, but his face was freezing fucking horribly.

"The theory right now is a Demon, I have several reasons to agree with this theory"
replied Arthur as he began walking in the direction the Symph pointed out, holding a hand in front of his face against blistering cold wind
"Makes me almost regret not getting a Wind elemental core..." he whispered to himself though it couldn't be heard over the howling of the wind.

Symph scanned her surroundings once more, making sure that the way she had pointed was to lead to the source-and maybe, a demon. If she was actually wrong about a demon, the mission didn't matter to her, anymore. Any of Robotnik's drones could be taken down with ease, but demons took skill and strength. As Arthur spoke, she rubbed some accumulating snow off her ring on her left hand, making sure that it wouldn't lock up if she needed it again.
"Come on," she began walking and motioned with her hand for the other three to follow, "We haven't got much time before our faces freeze off."

Doug chuckled, nodding. He proceeded to begin walking after Symph after listening to the rest of the word exchanges. He gazed his eyes around the island as he followed, as if trying to see if he could spot anything else that may be of suspicion or a clue perhaps.
Hmm.... Here we go again. Off into the abyss of wondrous white. What is to be expected, we may never know....

"So why would a demon be doing this? I mean, while it does cause some trouble to the ecosystem, a beach is really a horrible place to do it. There isn't any wildlife to disrupt, and there certainly isn't any issue from the water life which just swims to warmer waters." he said a bit confused "I know it couldn't expect to disrupt our lives... we tend to adapt to things quickly as we already have here."

"But that's the problem," Symph looked back, "Life learns to adapt. That explains why no one else has really taken action about the snow. They're just accepting it and moving on. If Mobian life gets accustomed to this, then who knows what's next. Ice Cap becoming the new Lava Reef?" she shrugged, then faced forward again. "Mobius can't change for the demons. How they're going about their plan makes me worry..."
She was interrupted by a sudden coughing fit from herself, covering her mouth by doing so. "Sorry," she looked back, "Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that if Emerald Coast can become like this, and no one cares, it's just another victory for the demons."

"In any case, having worked with them in the past there is always and I mean always an ulterior motive, we may not see it now but if we do nothing their plan may eventually come to light and by then it could be too late" spoke up Arthur as he remained quiet for most of the conversation, listening to each person's opinion or thoughts on the matter
