If you look through the desolate halls it was obvious to see that the place hadn't been touched for years. Well, since the last Doctor had decided to do a little project in without an invitation. The base seemed to finally be at peace to hide it's cache of information and files that more often than not bastardized the nature moral itself.
The peace of this place, a place that had seen more than its share of injustice and crossed lines, was compromised by a bright flash that lit up just about a whole sector. The eerie serenity was doused with the popping and crackling of energy that permeated the air.
From the epicenter of this energy, a figure as bright as the light that disturbed the once dim space was spat out onto the cold steel floor, the momentum sliding it a few feet before coming to a quite stop. The body lay on the hard metal, unmoving.
After a few moments, signs of life. The white being coughed and let out a quite moan, lifting itself from the floor with it's arms slowly and shaking the disorientation off from the harsh entrance. After getting a hold of its senses, it gingerly lifted itself to its feet, still a bit dazed from the event. The thing that stood was a hedgehog, white as snow and shaken, but seemed no worse for ware. Finally, after taking a lethargic look around, he opened his drooping eyes fully, his alertness been returned to him.
"Wha-... Where did I end up?" his voice a bit quiet. "Did I accidentally teleport here or..." the psychic sometimes had experiences where his own teleportation ability would fritz out on him, so this was the first explanation to come to his mind.
This was different though... it was true he could teleport, but it wasn't for long distances so it never created such a problem if he messed it up. It was time for him to move and find out what he had gotten into.
He wandered down the halls, searching for windows to the outside to see exactly what was going on. The halls got darker and darker as they went, forcing him to concentrate his powers, causing his body to let off a soft teal glow.. It wasn't much for illumination but it helped.
The hog furrowed his brows as he searched his mind for what he had even been doing before ending up in this dump. His hand idly clenched and unclenched as he thought... Wait, I was holding something before, right?
Before he could dwell on that thought he found himself rounding a corner to find a steel door emanating a light from its cracks. How strange... this whole place looked old and abandoned. How could it be lit anywhere?
The hedge quietly sidled up to the door, placing his ear to it to listen to any sign of activity.
