Abilities. These are most OC's and Canon's very helpful friends. And when it comes to the Sonic community, abilities are bliss. That and super modes as well.
Most people tend not to cap their power. Other people think that their power is 'godly'. I hate to break it to you, but we are NOT DBZ. This is why I'm bringing up the tech abilities. Or more simply put, Chaos Drive.
The Chaos Drive would serve as a temporary source of power. They are not Chaos Emeralds.

Yes this makes sense but a lot of characters I've seen on this board do not use Chaos abilities let alone other kinds of powers, if your talking about using 'Tech abilities' to use powers like the lightning powers that Mettalix and Arthur have that makes better sense.

I think that using Light Cores for this idea would be better since they are a much less specific form of energy.
This seems like a good idea, but I'd like to give it a bit of time before we implement it. I trust that people are responsible enough so that we won't have to use a system like this. I think it would make things needlessly complicated. I do think we could put this into effect if unlimited power becomes an issue.

Which in that case I begin banning all heretics on the website.
This place is semi-literate and it is expected for people to have balanced and sensible abilities for their characters.

The chaos drive idea is really cool. Kinda glad I modified my character's profiles to be more technical rather than having powers. Now would the chaos drives be a rare item or would they be abundant like Sonic Adventure 1&2?

I still stand by the idea that they should be Light Cores instead of chaos drives if we decide to use the idea.
