Sonic the Hedgehog
Why would you like to play as this character?: Well, it seemed strange to have a Sonic RP board without anybody picking Sonic, so I decided to pick up the slack and pick one of the Canon Characters.
How long have you been roleplaying?: I've got a couple of years under my belt for roleplaying. it may take a bit for me to warm up as Sonic; I hope I'll be able to impress
Give an example of your roleplaying skill: A surprisingly peaceful day has arrived to Green Hill Zone, the flickies are chirping, the wind is calmly blowing against the grass. All peace is slightly disrupted with a quick blue blur darting past it all. Speeding through the hillsides and gaining speed as he reaches the ever so familiar loop of Green Hill Zone. Once this blue hedgehog reaches the other end of the loop it breaks the sound barrier, a ripple in the air could be seen with a trained eye.
The hedgehog skids to a stop at cliff side overlooking the entire zone. Stretching his arms out he grinned, "Man, it gets kind of boring without 'ole Egg-head wrecking havoc every once in awhile." His sight-seeing was cut-short with a friendly blue Tornado flying through the sky, piloted by none other than Tails! "Hey Sonic!" the yellow fox waved with a smile.
Sonic smiled, "there we go! I can go for a ride!" he says to himself waving back at Tails. Front-flipping off the cliff side, Sonic lands on a slope with his spin-dash, accelerating up the ramped slope. Propelling himself up in the air, he slows his spin-dash mid-air to land on the wing of the Tornado.
"Well hey Sonic where are we going to go today?" Tails ask, adjusting his plane to accommodate for Sonic's extra weight.
Sonic gives his old pal a grin, "Wherever the wind takes us 'lil buddy, wherever the wind takes us!"

A large robot was aiming it's plasma cannon arm at our hero, Sonic the hedgehog, Dr. Eggman's voice echoed through the loudspeakers " I've got you now you blue pest!" A large pink light emitted from the cannon, and fires a blinding blast at the hedgehog.
In Sonic's place was a small crater, scorched around the diameter with smoke rising.
"I did it! I finally vaporized that pesky hedgehog!" his maniacal laugh echoed through the complex.
"You really never learn, do you Eggman?" Sonic was standing on an elevated structure, somewhat eye-to-eye with the large robot. Wagging his finger back and fourth with a cocky wink, Sonic mocked the evil genius.
Growing frustrated, Eggman's robot delivered a powerful punch in Sonic's direction, only for it to be dodged with Sonic now on top of the arm and sprinting towards the robot's head. Spin-dashing through the head, Sonic made his way down the robot, creating a bit of havoc in the robot's vitals. Small explosion after small explosion, the robot was slowly becoming another one of Eggman's piles of scrap.
Sonic busted through the foot of the mech, standing up straight with his back towards it. A smirk on his face and a snap of his fingers, the robot exploded behind him, sending Eggman away in his hoverEgg shouting, "I'll get you next time Sonic!"
Sonic just shrugged, a smug look on his face "Now, that's how you crack an egg!"
Head canons: Actually, I can't think of any head canons at the moment. D:
