Wings flapped silently as a dragon appeared near the town. Part of him hated his curiosity with a burning passion, but the other part of him WAS that curiosity and he just wanted to know what this place was that had flashed through his mind after he woke up. He also wondered if it would bring clues as to who helped him.
As he approached the castle walls, he noticed one or two of the bats from before and shuddered a bit. Now he pretty much wanted to turn around and leave, but the curiosity wouldn't let him. He sighed at his own foolishness and landed before the entrance, frowning. He was tense and very alert as he walked through the gate and entered the square, his eyes scanning for some sort of clue.
The armadillos were also making it hard for him to concentrate, being as all of them looked similar to the one he remembered just before he was knocked out. Now he couldn't help but wonder... what was this place?

The place had calmed down a lot, and the bodies cleaned up. Everything seemed mildly back to normal by the time Drake arrived. The armadillos looked like they were all oppressed, in cheap tattered clothing and starving. None of them looked anywhere near able to do to him like the one from before did. The guards in purple armor still patrolling to try and find the spy in their midst.
Then Drake would see him, an armadillo in the town center, massive robotic arms and legs, his shell completely replaced with a metal shield. But he wasn't wearing his full body armor this time and seemed to be looking at the town sadly. Like he was somehow to blame for all this and was guilty.

A male hedgehog walked into the scene, trying to keep a low profile. He walked over to the town center, and went up to the armadillo with robotic parts. He then asked "Excuse me sir, have you seen any of these people?" He showed him pictures of a female bat, a male tiger, and a female cat. "I need help finding them. They went out on a mission to investigate this place and went missing."

Drake's eyes glanced around a bit more, then his eyes locked onto the armadillo which stood out among the crowd. He moved his gaze down toward the floor, remembering the figure well enough. He analyzed the scene momentarily, before figuring he would need to find out more about what was going on here. The dragon moved closer to where the armadillo was, trying to seem as inconspicuous as possible as he listened in on the partly robotic creature and the hedgehog who had walked up to him just then.

"Huh..? Oh no." he said quietly, his voice was still somewhat immature, showing he was either very young or his body wasn't developing properly. Most likely due to cybernetic tampering on his person. "I haven't seen them... I don't usually come outside anyway." he said lightly before looking at his massive arms.
A guard walked over and sneered at the half robot, making him flinch before the guard headed on his way.

"Oh, very well then." Spike then kept walking around the town. Then, he noticed a guard. He quickly hid and looked over. It started walking over to him. "W-What do you want from me?" The hedgehog asked nervously. "What do I want? This." It then kissed his cheek. Turns out, it was the female bat from back in the beginning.

While Spike was talking to the armadillo, Drake had moved a ways behind him, listening and waiting for an opening to confront him. When Spike dismissed their conversation, Drake waited until he was far enough away before stepping forward. He reached out and grabbed the creature's metal arm, gripping it tightly so he couldn't simply run off. He spoke in a hushed voice as to not draw the attention of the people surrounding them. "I know you recognize me from before... If you don't want to cause a scene, then I highly suggest you tell me everything you know, starting with this medal," he muttered, pulling out the purple medallion and flashing it to the armadillo before returning it to his pocket, "Starting now."

The armadillo watched him go off confused before he was grabbed, he grew tense before glancing behind him. "We can not talk here." he said quietly as he looked down "But that medallion was to lead you here..." he said very quietly "They will monitor us if we are together for too long."

Drake wasn't in the mood to have an obvious discussion. He had already picked up on all three of the points mentioned and personally found the comments to be unnecessary and a waste of time. "Then take me somewhere where we can talk," he growled slowly through gritted teeth, releasing his arm. He moved his gaze away from the armadillo and used his peripheral vision to keep an eye on him now, that way their interaction would remain subtle. This helped him keep an eye out for trouble as well.

He nodded and began to make his way... outside of the city? "This way." he said quietly as he marched diligently.

Without another word, Drake followed after the armadillo. The dragon kept a few paces back, remaining alert aware of his surroundings as well as his guide. He didn't trust anyone here, not even the person he was pursuing, but that wouldn't stop him from getting the answers he wanted. That, and he didn't appreciate being knocked out previously. As soon as they were exiting the city, Drake started to wonder where this person was taking him in the first place. Still, he followed without question.

Once a short distance from the city he turned to face him "I lead you here, cause I need your help. I am a member of the bat colony... but they have treated me like nothing but dirt and I refuse to play my families' games at the moment." he said with a sign, but he couldn't be a part of their family... he was an armadillo.

"Well, no shit you're a part of the bat colony. You helped them out at the cra-- Wait, family?" Drake questioned, quirking an eyebrow at him, "What do you mean by family?" He looked the armadillo up and down for a moment, making sure he wasn't missing something here. "You're certainly not a bat... Are you adopted or something?" He frowned at this possibility as he thought back to the other armadillos in the city who seemed to be controlled by the bat guards rather than being a part of their colony.

"They are all I have known... since I was a baby... I never saw an armadillo till after I was deployed into their army... they are my family no matter what." he said quietly as he rubbed his robotic arms "But... they promised to give the armadillos freedom once I righted the wrong..."

Drake recalled the oppressed crowd of armadillos back in the city and frowned. "Once you righted what wrong?" he questioned, eyes narrowing curiously now.
