Dark Town (Part 2/3 Plot: Rising Blood)

"I don't know... it was before many of us was born... it was apparently what created the vampire bat colony... none of them will elaborate so I know nothing." he said quietly as he rubbed his arms again "But I am powerless, I just need help."

[Hyro]

"How do you expect me to help you when you aren't sure what you need help with?" he muttered, impatient. He sighed. "Why should I help you, anyway? You knocked me out when we last met..."

"I was supposed to kill you." he told him simply "You shouldn't even be here right now but I spared you. I am tired of having to kill, but I have no power to change that myself." he said with a small growl.

[Hyro]

Drake fell silent. It hadn't even occurred to him until now that the armadillo's orders were to kill him, not to knock him unconscious and throw him off in the woods somewhere. As he realized what this armadillo had done for him, he started to feel a bit less cold and hostile toward him.

Drake hesitated for a second. "Sorry," he replied, looking away momentarily. He paused, then looked back to the armadillo. "I suppose I owe you something then... I'll help."

He nodded a little and offered him a metal hand "its... Fine I suppose. I can understand how you feel and the reason you are being so defensive and hostile." He looked towards the city "I believe once the queen is no more then the bats will disperse." He looked back to drake "my plan is to call a round up, they will gather all none bats and armadillos to the throne room for an meeting... That is your chance to strike at her."

[Hyro]

Drake nodded, accepting and shaking his hand. "So... You want me to kill the queen, correct?" he clarified, "...I think I can do that." He figured he could handle one bat, though it would probably feel strange killing a girl. "I don't believe I've introduced myself properly. The name's Drake... And you are?"

"I have... no idea honestly... for so long they have simply named me Guardian..." he said sadly "I might of had a name once, but it is now lost in time."

[Hyro]

"Well then, I guess I'll call you Guardian for now. So, Guardian... Anything I should know ahead of time about this queen of yours?" Drake asked. He wanted to get a clear picture of how this event would go down so that perhaps he could even strategize in taking her down.

[Arthur]

The sounds of steps could be heard from the entrance of the castle the owner of the steps being a white hedgehog with surprisingly light green eyes that seemed to glow slightly in the shade, he wore a dark blue hood jacket and blue jeans, underneath he wore a singlet and on his feet was black shoes, he had black leather fingerless gloves and on his wedding finger was a golden ring meaning he was married, his thoughts returned to why he was here, the words replaying in his head like a recorded message

"Your mission is to investigate the current events of what is occurring in the Hang Castle region, seeing as it is a rural area and the locals live a primitive life, you are going in unarmed so as not to spook them, your mission is to investigate and report back, not create an international incident...We've also had several sightings of your wife on the premises"

The mention of his wife Alkira had him drop everything and be on the first plane to Hang Castle, he hadn't heard from her recently and began to worry for her, one may even think that he had suspicions of her cheating on him, but he quelled these thoughts from his mind as he entered the castle the first task at hand was to find his wife and then get an idea on the situation then report back via satellite phone and then receive new orders.

"There... isn't really much known about her... the bats swear to her but other than that they just call her the queen. No one even knows what she looks like." he admitted as he began to walk back to the castle walls "Just be on your guard."

The guards would stop Arthur and sneer at him "Who are you? Why are you here?" one hissed as he clutched his spear tightly in his armored gloves.

[Arthur]

Arthur stopped before looking towards the guards "I'm the exterminator...I was told you have an...Occult problem, I'm here to fix it...Stand aside or I will be forced to remove you from my way" he said crossing his arms, his gaze piercing into them
"Also tell Alkira that her husband has arrived."

[Hyro]

Drake nodded and followed the armadillo from a good distance. /No one's seen her?/ he thought silently as they walked, /Great... Looks like I'll have to make a few observations and wing it.../ He kept his guard up, especially as they neared the castle.

[TheMindsofTheMany]

"No occult problem, we don't allow people to use magic in our territory without our observation." the guard hissed, the other smirking "You have no jurisdiction here hedgehog... this is our territory not yours." he snapped "We don't know of any Alkira."

The armadillo looked at him once they reached the outer castle gates "Stay here." he told Drake as he made his way inside and right past the guards and Arthur without speaking to any of them.

[Hyro]

Drake stopped and watched Guardian go through until he was out of sight. He blinked a few times, then looked away from the castle and the people at the gate. He casually placed his hands in his pockets and waited patiently for the armadillo to return.

[Arthur]

"Then allow me to rephrase my last statement, I'm a part of the Order, your neck of the woods would have heard of us, pretty much we're the paranormal police slash rulers of the world, my jurisdiction is here and if you don't stand out of my way right now I will be forced to put you both down...Hard." he said as he removed a badge from within his jacket, it was golden with the symbol of the Order which consisted of the circle shape of a serpent eating it's tail with a triangle in the centre with an eye crying tears of blood beneath the symbol was the letter and number of X1 which placed his rank within The Order as a high ranking and deadly agent.
