The massive walls of stone towered over the trees and those who circled outside of it. A massive gated slightly parted to allow in small carts and vehicles as well as people. The gates guarded by black bats in purple armor. Their pure blood red eyes monitoring everyone who entered the city. But one thing stood out about these fellows, is that every one of them was a bat of black fur, and red eyes.
The town citizens appeared to be mostly armadillos, their clothing in poor condition. The town itself seemed to be falling apart, people starving in the streets and the buildings and roads in disrepair while the guards and the castle appeared to be in top conditions. To the side, three armadillos were tied at the wrists while a guard was reading their crimes out.
A small crowd having gathered to watch in fear, the guard standing next to the small set of prisoners. One a little boy, a mother and father. The bat seemed to be enjoying his job of ruining their reputations "Having stolen food from the Sanguine Glint Colony. These three are hereby to be made into an example by the protectors of your lives and city." the bat called as he drew a wicked blade from his hip, it looked more like a chisel than a knife.

A single, blazing orange-red iris burned out through the foliage of the trees that the town's walls were built around, and a fiery glare settled onto the many armored bats that were 'guarding' the little settlement of armadillo people. How cute, the scum of the bat species had found themselves some new toys.
The owner of that wicked gaze, a small orange-furred bat, shifted slightly on the branch it had made its roost as it studied the vampiric mobians from afar. A burning hatred stirred within the little furred creature. Not for the fact that the black bats were oppressing these poor people. No, the little bat could care less for that. Simply seeing the creatures that had the gall to call themselves bats put the orange mobian into a rage. They were disgusting. Preying on the blood of other creatures was sickening -- consuming their inferior blood as sustenance. Or even worse, betraying your own kind and drinking the blood of other bats.
Shaking the thought, the fruit bat went about counting the number of them present. One, Two, Five.. Hm.. As she mentally tallied the amount, the mobian moved about quietly in the trees to make sure she didn't miss any.
(( Dear god I'm rusty. ;0; ))

He walked over to the father, dragging the blade across his throat in one deep cut. Blood beginning to squirt from his severed arteries as he gagged for air. The little boy was screaming and crying while the mother cried for her dying husband. The bat took the knife slowly up to his mouth and licked along the blade "Such foul blood... but it is just so addicting." he hissed as he sucked the blade clean and walked over to the mother "You should not of stolen from us, to think we allow your kind to stain our streets."
The others looked away when he slit the father's throat, some heading off on their way while a few armored bats took turns watching and cheering the executioner on. A few people began to come back but turned back as some of the guards began to move to intercept them "Don't try it." one hissed to the attempted rescuers. "or we will eat well tonight."

A female bat was sneaking around in the trees, she was a well-trained assassin sent out on a mission to investigate these vampire bats. She glided from tree to tree, not making a sound. She quickly pulled out her pistol, ready to attack. She glided down on a bat who was guarding the exit. She blew his brains out from behind, and just to make sure he's dead, shot him in the chest. She quickly put on the bat's armor to try and blend in. She had black fur and was wearing red eye contacts. She tucked her light brown hair back into the helmet. She blended in perfectly.

The bat's armor wouldn't fit her for anything, these bats wore such heavy armor too, it was a lot of dead weight. Unless her red contacts covered every part of her eye, white, pupil, iris, and was all blood red then she looked nothing like one. Now she would have to deal with the body and the smell of blood that was surely going to attract more vampire bats to the corpse. Inside the towns guards were already slowing and sniffing the air, one sneering "I smell spilled blood... go and take a look." he told another one who nodded and went on alert. The guard drawing his dagger as he made his way towards the entrance.

The bat spread out her huge wings and flew up to the roof of the building. But before she did that, she buried the dead bat and made sure to leave no trace. She then dropped down inside and hung out there. She looked through a window to get a better view on what's happening.

From the safety of the canopy, the fruit bat watched as another bat came into the open, though this one was quite obviously not a vampire bat. Keeping herself silent, she watched as the smaller bat killed the armored guard and donned his attire. What was this one's plan? The sight of the brown bat in her new, cumbersome armor was almost humorous-- until the fruit bat spotted another guard, making his way to the scene. It seemed logical to her that the smell had likely attracted him. Curious, the fruit bat retreated deeper back into the safety of the foliage to watch what would happen next.

The bat would make his way around to where his associate had been a moment ago and look around before following the smell of blood and churned earth. Vampires were powerful hunters, predators, and when a creature like a bat was a vampire, their senses were deadly. He would follow the smell of blood to the cheap grave and head back into the town "We have an intruder, be sure to check fangs, eyes, and scent, if your not convinced, hurt them and see if they heal." he told another guard who began to spread the word.
The armor most likely smelled like the bat, not only that but shooting someone in the chest and head splattered blood everything and damaged the armor as well.

The bat started to feel a bit heavier as she watched. Then, she hid herself and snuck back up to the roof. Then, an orange and black tiger was hanging out on a tower. He had a sniper rifle aimed at one of the vampire bats. He held his breath and shot an anti-matter bullet in his skull. It caused a mini implosion once it hit the vampire bat He then reloaded and aimed at the others.

As the shot rang out the Bat would evade it with unnatural speed, shouting an alarm the entire place went on alert. It wouldn't be long till bats with guns rushed out of the castle and took to the air. They would take up positions to use cross fire to leave no room for the tiger to escape. They knew their tactics, and with their inhuman abilities they closed in quickly to capture him.
By now the entire town was just packed with soldiers, not guards this time, but soldiers in full heavy armor. There was almost twice as many that had been in the crater and surely to be even more waiting to fit into the town.

A cat princess with a dress was sitting by the tower when she saw an army coming. She quickly got up and conjured up an ice sword with the humidity around them. She quickly ran in and screamed "Thou shalt taketh our tower by my dead corpse!" She quickly slashed at one of them.

It turned bloody real fast, the second she slashed they all raised their weapons and just opened fire with no regard for her life. Dozens of them firing at her at once, some drawing knives and waiting for their turn while others formed green fire in their hands. There was no prisoners for those who would not submit, only death.

A bullet grazed her shoulder and she grabbed it in pain. The tiger quickly ran out. "Stop! If you hurt another hair on my beloved Frost, I swear it, I will have all of you dead!" Then, Frost mumbled "Thou shalt not give a girl a promise thy can not keep." She started crying as they were surrounded.

"Cute, he thinks himself a hero." one said with a smirk "Move and we kill you both." he told them as he went to shackle them, the shackles were odd, solid iron yes but they had runes etched into them. He went to slap them onto them, the runes would begin to suck the energy out of them once they possibly got on.

Then, the tiger's watched made a very loud, annoying ringtone that was loud enough to drive the bats crazy. It started to get louder and louder as he didn't pick up. The ear-piercing sound got worse and worse as he refused to pick up. The bat disguised as a vampire bat could hear it too. She covered her ears and winced in pain from her sensitive hearing.
