Coal charged at the giant mechanized mole only to be swiped away by the back of it's robot hand.
Coal is sent flying through a tree and lands into the swampy water.
"ugh.....this is disgusting....and bad for me!" He slowly stands up, leeches and algae all over him.

It must've been odd to see a mauve margay dangling from a tree dressed in mud, but Symph didn't seem at all aware. "Well, yeah, I am..." she stuttered at the hedgehog's friendly voice, "Have you seen any weird people around here? Like, demons or something...?"
Her attention was drawn to a male tiger walking by, with his curious gaze scanning the area for any people. Wonder who that could be... she quietly thought to herself.

Doug sort of passed off the girl being all muddy, knowing how the swamp's terrain is. He looked at her, raising an eyebrow at the mention of demons. "Well no, I was sent here to investigate some mysterious tremors that have been plaguing the ruins by my superior commander. Is that why you are here as well? Except maybe sent by someone else?" Doug had said and then asked out of curiosity in his usual warm voice, slowly crossing his arms.

Angie and Spike stopped kissing, they were neck-deep. "See you in heaven, Angie." Spike said to her. Her eyes teared up as they were about to submerge, they both made one final scream for help, it could be heard by everyone.

"You could say that I sent myself, if that's the case," Symph smiled, pulling herself up the rest of the way up the branch, then sitting upright, staring down and the hedgehog. "Tremors, plants dying, you know, that stuff could be the work of demons, but you never know," she remarked, crossing one leg over the other and slightly rocking herself as if she were actually entertained. "So far...I've found nothing. How about yourself?"

Doug looked up at her, blinking and then shrugging as he shook his head in response along with saying... "Well, no, I was following the tremors but I was kind of stopped when I wanted to see if I had passed someone, which happened to be you. Hahahah..." He softly chuckled. "I dunno about any demons though, but it could be anything after all."

Ken heard them scream. "Ah great, what did they get themselves into now?" He ran over to them, noticed they were sinking in the mud. "Oh gosh!" He ran to look for something they could grab on to.

Ken found a vine and tossed it out to Angie and Spike. They pulled themselves out and were completely muddy. Angie flapped her wings, trying to get he muck off of them. "Well that was close." Spike said as he brushed some mud out of his fur. "Well it's good we're back together again." Ken said as he walked off with them, past Coal. They didn't seem to notice what was going on.

Her attention was drawn to the red hedgehog, covered in a swampy muck as well as herself, except for the leeches on him... hopefully, there weren't any on herself...
Symph stood from the branch, balancing herself, and jumped into the air, landing on solid ground next to the blue hedgehog with a bit of a thud. She could fight if she needed to, and didn't want these boys to think that she was a girl who was afraid of mud and getting her hair dirty. Well, she was, but it was a bit of a long shot right there. "Alright, what do you need help..."
Her attention was drawn to a giant mechanical mole towering over herself.
"...what the heck did you get yourself into?!"

Doug opened his palms and his hands glowed with a white aura of light, getting into a slight battle pose. "Sounds like a fun little game for me, stranger." Doug smirked. "My powers work anywhere~" Doug said in a slightly witty fashion. He then looked at the large mechanical mole. "... Wow." He said in surprise. "Didn't think it would be a simple robot causing all this ruckus."

The three see the others. "Hey! Need some help?" Spike ran in and kicked the robot's head off from behind. It shut down and fell to the ground. "Who could have possibly made such a thing?" Angie wondered, looking at its parts. "Well it certainly didn't seem friendly" Ken pointed out.

Symph was dumbfounded. That had to have been a massive force to knock over a robotic mole that large. She blinked at the one who kicked its head off. "Uhh...thanks..."
The ground shook itself violently. Another tremor.
"Guys," Symph stated, "I think this one has friends..."

(OOC: Honestly, I can't really go along with the fight ending that easily.... It's a giant robot Spike, it has to take a bit of time... But whatever.)
Doug facepalmed at the ridiculous sight he just saw, finding it a little dumb and unbelievable. But then as he felt another shock across the ground. "Well at least these ridiculous folks won't ruin the fun for me." Doug said slightly jokingly with a slight chuckle. "Let's get busy... Um... Purple Kitty."
