Terror in the treetops

Spike jumped out of the way. He quickly ran towards it and tried to barge into it. He hit his head hard on the solid metal. He rubbed his head in pain and looked up at it. He then focused and tried to think of a way to beat it. He was pretty much useless. He then as a final attempt to take it down kicked an opening into its circuitry. He ripped apart wires and beat it up on the inside.

[Coal Ashburn]

"yeah we're fine!" Coal shouted back with a grin, fire escaping through his teeth, "I'll weaken the armor and you hit it with your blast!"
Coal took a deep breath and exhaled a large fireball attack at the mole, weakening the armor by melting it slightly.

Spike's mole fired 3 drill missiles from it's claw at Spike.

Symph's mole looked up in the sky at his nose then looked back down and swiped at her with his claw.

[Doug]

Doug moved his arms in a slight rhythm, then sort of went downward with his arm out like he was gonna try to ram the robot with his shoulder. "Timing is good here.... Here I go!" Doug then held his palms forward, creating a large burst of light at the Mole robot at nearly point blank range. The burst made a bright flash on impact.

Spike looked at them. "It's no use, I'm powerless against these guys. I can't take down guys like these, I'm no properly trained." He then looked back at the mole that was attacking him. He felt no hope in defeating them. Even if they manage to defeat them, there's probably still more out there. He was ready to give up.

[Symph]

The robot, although distracted by its nose being redirected, regained itself and hurled its claw out at her again. She was ready this time. With a shock wave in her step, Symph blasted herself above the claw's force, and landed back on the ground into a muddy spot. "Eww grooooosssss!" she winced at the sludgy feeling that had splashed up all over her legs" She lifted her right foot out of the mud, but her left foot wouldn't budge. She tugged and tugged, but it didn't move.

"Oh, come one!" she rolled her eyes, "Not now!" The robot swung its claw out at her again, but she defended with a shock wave. It was the most she could do at the moment.

Spike noticed Symph needed help. He ran over to her and helped her out by distracting the other mole. "Hey you! Over here you massive robotic freak of nature!" He screamed. He was seriously putting forth all his chips by saying that, but if it meant the safety of others, he had to do it.

[Coal Ashburn]

As Coal fell he glanced over to Spike and Symph, 'Gotta help them out.' he thought to himself, taking a deep breath, "Hey Blue! Help out the dude in trouble, I got the girl!" he fired a small fire blast from his hands to propel him towards Symph's area and and grabs her arm and starts to pull her out, "You keep deflecting while I get you out." he exclaims, trying his hardest to pull her out.

(Uhm... I see I'm not needed there XD)
Spike started taunting it. "Hey! Are you fighting or just blowing gaskets?" He jumped up to attack but got hit upside the head and fell to the ground. He grinned as he kept trying to get its attention. "Go on! Help her out I got this guy!"

[Symph]

"Got it!" she shouted over the commotion. She had just met these mobians, and they were already acting as if they were teammates...

The Mole robots' attention was more centered now, on the group. One lashed out a claw at both the red hedgehog and Symph, which, with more effort than usual, was deflected, She could feel her boot loosening in the mud, little by little. "It's working, hedgehog!" she grinned at him, a bit annoyed that she had no idea what his name even was.

[Doug]

Doug just ran over to the other mole that Spike was unable to battle. He cracked his knuckles, he then held his fist back, it glowed with an aura of bright light. He then jumped on the Mole's head and held his fist upward, ready to strike down on it.

"I got your back!" Spike screamed as he kept jeering at the mole. He was being attacked but just doing it for the sake of Symph. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine!"

[Coal Ashburn]

(you're needed! you can still distract, gives me an opportunity to help!)

The mole turned to Spike and Doug, then fired it's last round of drill missiles.
Coal tugged a little harder, "C'mon....stupid swamp and your stupid antics." he muttered, obviously frustrated.

[Doug]

Doug fired a beam of light at any drill missiles heading toward him. He took a deep breath. "Whew, that was a close call... Crazy things almost got me." He then focused on the mole he was standing on and stomped on it a little, the metal area on the back of both his shoes actually could be effective here.

Spike was on the ground, he winced in pain as he grabbed his side. He was extremely worn out but still had to fight. "Ha! That was nothing! You think that's enough to defeat..." He passed out on the ground. The mole tilted its head, then looked over at Symph.

[Coal Ashburn]

Coal looked at Spike, "that kid doesn't give up until his body does....I suppose that's noble." he says trying to pull Symph out . "Hopefully that shockwave stuff protects us." he said to her, almost pulling her out.
